Collecting Stars with Crayons
Crayon Physics Deluxe is still a work in progress, but it’s definitely an interesting take on puzzle games. This would be perfect for the Nintendo DS format.

Got access to this Turok video and I must say that the game looks awesome. With a long history dating back to the Nintendo 64, the franchise is coming out with a title for the next-gen consoles in early February. Unfortunately, It’s not coming out for the Wii, but luckily there a Xbox 360 in the family now at my sister’s place.
For a while, Rannie and I were both ridiculously addicted to Animal Crossing: Wild World. I’d play daily for hours at a time totally ignoring loved ones or the need to sleep or eat. It’s one of those games that you need to experience for yourself to realize just how truly immersive it’s virtual world could be.
But sometimes, people prefer a more tactile approach. Now I’m not sure exactly where or when this footage was shot or what this entire exhibit\experiment(?) was for. But I do know that it all looks wicked… and pretty impressive from a technical standpoint. I would have loved to check this out first hand, but I guess you and me will have to settle for the video below.
I’m not sure about you, but I’m excited about the release of My Sims by EA Games on the Nintendo Wii and DS. Check out the trailer above. So cute. And the game play is supposed to be a breeze and very customizable. Sure it looks a lot like Animal Crossing, but that being said I was a big fan of that franchise. Kill me with cuteness.
The game hits shelves on September 18th.
See, now here’s a smart idea — take all the recent gameplay clips from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass that keep being released all over the interweb every 10 seconds! and simply roll them all into one conveniently packaged video. It’s all the Hyrulian goodness you’ll ever need… well until the game is released later this year of course.

OMG. it looks like the brilliant folk at Ubisoft are at it again. Slatted for a 4th quarter release this year, videos and other peaks into Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 are out on the web. Colour me excited. AHHHHH!

Simply because The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess allows you to “retry” after continual fiery deaths in lava pits, it doesn’t mean that your game is saved. After playing for about 3 or 4 hours on Friday night, I turned off my Wii and went to bed, only to wake up on Saturday morning at Faron Woods instead of the Goron Mines. Let me say I was a little upset, but doing everything over, only took half the time. Save your game people! You laugh, but I know the same thing has happened to other people, so I know I’m not alone on this.
In any case, I’ve currently made my way to The Lakebed Temple and I must say that swimming can be really frustrating. The scary part is that I have around 18 hours logged in and I’m barely a third of the way finished. But accouding to the Zelda Completion Calculator, I’ve done only about 20% of the gameplay.
Welcome to this week’s edition of Button Mash This! It looks like our passion for gaming is getting noticed around here as some of our readers have been kind enough to tip us off about successful exercise regimes and incredible portable machines. Thanks for beating me to the punch, folks. But let’s see if I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. Hold on to your nunchucks… here we go!
